Jace Bacon Looks to Close in on the Championship Title on the Streets of Toronto

Young newcomer Jace Bacon has made a splash in the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America series this year, proving himself to be a force to be reckoned with in the Pro 1340 class. As a front-runner in his local club in Arizona, Bacon has earned race wins and podium results in the North American program as he competes alongside his father, Seth Bacon, under the Crown Racing banner. Set for his biggest challenge to date, Jace and Seth Bacon are ready to tackle the Streets of Toronto, an 11-turn, 1.786-mile barrier-lined temporary circuit alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

Jace currently sits in third in the championship running, just 30 points behind the leader heading into the series’ fourth event weekend of the year. As the Blue Marble Radical Cup takes on the streets of Downtown Toronto for the first time ever, the second half of the season will commence with the one and only practice session on Friday morning.

“The series has yet to race a street race this year, and I am in the same position as a lot of my competitors as it is my first time as well,” explains Bacon. “Since this will be my first street race ever, it will be important for me to learn quickly and apply that knowledge fast with only one on track session before qualifying.”

The Toronto race weekend is unlike others as it will only offer one practice session before qualifying and the three wheel-to-wheel races.

Bacon added, “We’re still in the running for the championship title, and we just passed the halfway point in the season so it’ll be crucial to come home with points in each race this weekend.”

With a shortened three-day race weekend kicking off Friday, please be sure to follow Jace Bacon Racing via his social media channels to keep up with live stream links, news, information, photos, and results from the event weekend.
